    About the Bellagio:
The Bellagio is located at 3600 South Las Vegas Boulevard, it is currently owned and operated by MGM Resorts International.  It is at the location of what was the Dunes Casino and Hotel (1955-1993).  Steve Wynn purchased the Dunes property and in Vegas fashion, on October 27, 1993, had a grand ceremony demolishing the Dunes with a major fireworks display, cannon blasts and over 200,000 onlookers.  (It was quite the sight to see!)
The Bellagio opened on October 15, 1998.  It's home to the Cirque du Soleil production "O",
the world famous Bellagio Fountains, Conservatory and Gallery of Fine Art. In 2000, the Bellagio became an MGM Mirage property and then in 2010 it became an MGM Resorts International property.  It has over 3,900 hotel rooms and employs over 8,000 people.  The Bellagio had Silver Strike machines from 1999 - 2007.
    Urban Myth:
    It is has been
rumored that the Bellagio uses treated greywater from the hotel for the 8 acre lake and dancing fountains...
Not So...  the lake is actually serviced by a freshwater well that was drilled decades before to irrigate the golf course at the Dunes.  It uses less water than the golf course did.
